<p>The invention relates to a pallet for transporting glass panels stacked horizontally, in particular glass panels for motor vehicles, which has a carrier tray, four vertical pillars at the corners and at least one pressing device constituted by a substantially horizontal rigid arm (20) capable of sliding at one end on a vertical upright (21) and then of being locked there in a chosen position, and provided at its other end with a member (33,34) acting from above on the stack of glass panels in order to hold this stack against the tray.
