DE LA RUE GIORI S.A. LAUSANNE/SWITZERLAND PLANT FOR MANUFACTURING A MOLD IN THE FORM OF A MULTIIMPRESSION PLASTIC PLATE, IN PARTICULAR FOR REPRODUCING INTAGLIO PRINTING PLATES, AND METHOD OF ACTUATING THIS PLANT The plant comprises an electrode-carrying device for supporting a plate electrode (7), a plate-carrying device for supporting an original plate (19) having an engraved design, and sliding frames that carry a thermo-formable plastic plate (4) arranged between and movable relative to the original plate (19) and to said electrode (7). The original plate (19) forms a second electrode, both electrodes being connected to a highfrequency apparatus. The first plate electrode (7) has an outline (7a), which corresponds to an envelope of the design of the original plate (19) and therefore of the impression to be produced. The border of the first electrode is surrounded by an insulating border, the thickness of which is equal to that of said first electrode. By these measures it is pratically only the zone of impression that is heated during the compression molding using high-frequency heating. Figure 2
