The private branch exchange (PBX) when a inner line subscriber completes communication through the stationary line, waits during the stationary exchange completes the release of the corresponding stationary line and then release the stationary line to prevent the collision of call signal. The method comprises a firtst step for resetting the call buffer and the inner line state by detecting the hook on of the inner line during the communication, a second step for turning off the relay of the stationary line and for setting the release stand-by bit of the state buffer of the stationary line, a third step for accessing the release time of the stand by buffer to stand by during the stationary line is release by the station, and a fourth step for resetting the release stand-by bit to release the stationary line when the release of the stationary line by the station is completed.
