PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer material with excellent anti-thrombogenic property and useful as a blood-compatitible material by containing at least one kind of glycosid derivative containing polymers comprising the repeating unit indicated by a specific formula as a basic constitution. CONSTITUTION:This organism-compatible material contains at least one kind of glycosid derivative containing polymers comprising the repeating unit indicated by the formula I as a basic constitution, where G-O- in the formula I indicates the sugar residue with no protective group, R<1> indicates hydrogen atom or methyl group, (m) indicates 1 or 2, (n) indicates an integer 1-4, (l) is an integer >=1, and 1<=n. The above glycosid derivative containing polymer is a polymer bonded by glycosid bond with the sugar residue having no protective group in the polymer principal chain, i.e., the sugar residue while the hydroxyl group is wholly kept in the free state. Glycosid bond is the bond existing in an organism or the natural field, and therefore, this polymer has excellent organism compatibility. The hydroxyl group on the sugar residue is wholly kept in the free state, and the polymer has very high hydrophilic property. This material has high anti-thrombogenic property and is very useful as a blood-compatible material. |
