Anti-panic release for a lock, which comprises a primary square-section rod equipped with an actuator element on the crosspiece actuating the retractile closure members or bolts of a lock, and with a secondary square-section rod provided with an eccentric element which actuates the bolt-actuating crosspiece when the primary rod is blocked by the lock's key. The crosspiece rests on the primary rod and in the field of action of the secondary rod in such a manner that it is able to receive, without distinction, the action (attack) of the actuator elements of both rods. <IMAGE>
