PURPOSE: To enable one arbitrary processor to read data from another processor by arranging a reflection screen so that all processors can project data on the reflection screen in specific locations. CONSTITUTION: An optical data switch 10 consists of three principal components, namely, data readers 12 related to individual processors, data projection devices 14 related to individual processors, and a light reflection screen 16 like a mirror. The data reader 12 having a converging lens 20 and the data projection device 14 is combined with each processor. The reflection screen 16 is divided into 9 areas, and respective areas are related to processors. All of data from the processor to which each area is related is made incident on the data reader 12 and is reflected. Thus, one arbitrary processor can read data from another processor. |
