PURPOSE:To easily fetch software written on the surface of paper into a computer by combining a reader which reads characters on the surface of paper, a character recognizing part, and a program recognizing part. CONSTITUTION:Software 1 written on the surface of paper is traced by a graphic reader 2 incorporating an image sensor and is taken into a device, and this data is converted from graphic image to character strings by a character recognizing device 3. Character strings are recognized as a program language in a program converting part and are stored in a RAM and are loaded into a computer 5 in the load mode of the computer. Thus, software 1 written on the surface of paper is fetched in by the graphic reader 2 like an image sensor, and this data is subjected to character recognition and is fetched in as a computer program.
