METHOD FOR GETTING USEFUL WORK AT REGASIFICATION OF LIQUEFIED GASES

The method is applied in the chemical industry, in particular in production of ammonium, mineral fertilisers, polyvinylchloride, polyethylene at low pressure, propylene, etc. and in coastal port capacities and other storehouses. Regasification of liquified gases is carried out under pressure higher than the one needed for the implementation of the technological process or under the pressure, at which the gas is transported to the highway pipelines where they expand in a gas turbine to the necessary levels. In this way, their energy before their transportation to the respective technological apparatus is utilized. The installation that implements the method includes a liquid gas pump that is connected with its inlet with a gas reservoir, and with its outlet - with an heater-evaporator. Next to it is installed a separate oven for additional heating of the evaporated gas with heating bearers of low-potential heat or with purposefully burnt chemical fuel. The dilation of the gas happens in a gas turbine, where it carries out work by diluting to the necessary pressure until it reaches to the respective technological apparatus or a highway pipeline.
