The pendulum-holder for joining parallel facing shafts (2, 7) has a drive (1) and driven (6) part. The driven part (6) has an attachment for tools. A cross-type disc (9) has at least one carrier-strip (10, 11) on each of its flat sides. The strips (10, 11) intersect and fit into grooves (12, 13) in the drive (1) and driven (2) parts. The cross-type disc (9) is supported on both sides by bearings (24, 25) on the drive or driven part (1, 2) and has a flexible connecting-pipe (33). The drive and driven parts (1, 2) have a pipe (34, 35, 40) each for cooling-fluid. The connecting-pipe (33) is joined to the feeder (34) and discharge (35) pipes. USE/ADVANTAGE - Tools can be cooled by a cooling fluid pipe going through a central cross-type disc.
