An accumulator driven electro device has a housing (1) for holding a function part (2) and at least one accumulator (4) electrically connectable thereto. The accumulator (4) is connected to a load circuit which is connectable to the mains via contact pins (5) projecting from the housing (1) to load the accumulator (4). The housing (1) has a receiving space (3) open on, one side, for the accumulator (4), into which a drawer (6) is pushed for adjusting the accumulator (4). A cover (7) closes the space (3). Flexible contacts (14, 15) are provided in the path of the accumulator (4) and drawer (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - The accumulator can be simply removed from the device without special disassembly procedure, and can be easily replaced.
