PURPOSE:To obtain the title cast board excellent in mechanical properties, appearance, etc., suitable for signboards, sanitary applications, etc., by incorporating a methyl methacrylate resin with a crosslinked rubbery copolymer and a silicone copolymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. of a methyl methacrylate resin is incorporated with (B) a copolymer prepared by grafting to (1) a crosslinked rubbery copolymer of butyl acrylate (2) methyl acrylate at an amount of 2-30 pts.wt. in terms of the component (1). Thence, the resultant composition is dispersed with (C) 0.001-0.5 pts.wt. of a copolymer of (3) 10-90wt.% of a compound of formula I (R1 is H or methyl; R2 is aliphatic group, etc.) and (4) 90-10wt.% of a radical- polymerizable silicone of formula II (R3 is H or CH3; R4 is alkyl, etc.; l and n are each 0-2; m is 0 or 1; x is 1-100), thus obtaining the objective cast board. |
