<p>PURPOSE:To execute necessary rolling reduction as a whole by reducing a rolling reduction rate of the roll concerned and recovering a roll surface state, and increasing a load of other stand, in the case a rough surface of the roll is generated and a rolling phenomenon becomes unstable. CONSTITUTION:When a roll rough surface detecting signal is received from any of threshold setting devices 4-1-4-n, a pass scheduler 5 reduces a rolling reduction rate of a stand which receives the roll rough surface detecting signal by about 5-10% from a rolling reduction rate of a pass schedule determined by regular logic, allocates equally the reduced rolling reduction to downstream stands and raises the rolling reduction rate of the downstream stands. In such a way, the rough surface of a work roll of the pre-stage is reduced.</p> |
