PURPOSE:To provide practicability of making the width of an electrode plate after affixing of a tape identical to the dimension of the electrode itself, by affixing the tape to the end of the electrode plate prior to processing of the electrode plate into specified width, and processing the electrode plate and tape simultaneously into the specified width. CONSTITUTION:Electrode plate 1 is worked from a large dimensioned work 5 which was provided with the same length L0 as the electrode plate 1 as the object by means of slitter processing 7, die punching, etc., and several pieces of such electrode plates 1 of the specified width are yielded. Before these electrode plates of specified width are yielded from the large dimensioned electrode plate, insulative tapes 4 are affixed to the two ends of the front and rear of the work 5 so that the extrusion dimension L1 in the direction of being wound as electrode plate becomes over specified dimension, that is followed by a cutting process into electrode plates 1. This ensures that the width W0 of the tape affixing part becomes identical to the width of the electrode plate 1 itself. |
