PURPOSE:To provide a fuel battery of molten carbonate type excellent in electroconductivity and anti-corrosiveness against molten carbonates by using a specific porous substance. CONSTITUTION:Electrode for fuel battery according to the present invention is formed from a porous substance consisting of Li'ed Ni oxide and Li'ed Fe oxide, wherein the Ni/Fe ratio by weight shall preferably be 0.1 thru 1.6. Therein the Li'ed Ni oxide and Li'ed Fe oxide constitute an admixture or a solid solution, and the former is to enhance to electroconductivity while the latter improves anti-corrosiveness against molten salt. Thus a fuel battery of molten carbonate type is obtained, which is equipped both with a high electroconductivity and a high anti-corrosiveness against molten salt. |
