PURPOSE:To increase the diffusion efficiency of oxygen and prevent the lowering of the oxygen diffusion efficiency with time by introducing a liquid having high dissolved oxygen concentration into a multi-layered concentric filter cylinder placed in a culture liquid and applying a vibration to the filter cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A liquid having high dissolved oxygen concentration is produced outside of a culture tank and introduced into a multi-layered concentric filter cylinder 1 placed in a culture liquid 3 in a culture tank 2. At the same time, vibration is applied to the filter cylinder 1 to diffuse the oxygen in the high- concentration liquid into the culture liquid 3 in the culture tank 2. The filter cylinder 1 preferably has two or three-layered concentric structure. The application of vibration to the filter cylinder 1 is preferably carried out by rotating the filter cylinder at a low rotational speed or by vertically oscillating the cylinder.
