<p>A conduit assembly for use with tubular conduits is disclosed as comprising a housing (20) with flange portions (44) which encompasses a plurality of seals (38) positioned around a conduit (22), a retainer (60) having a ring (74) and a pair of arms (76, 78) with an overall U-shape. The arms include an insert (98) which may be of different material and which prevent the separation of the conduits by the insert (98) abutting with the housing flange portions (44) and the conduit (22). The seals (38) and the retainer (60) are positioned within the housing (20) using an apparatus (130) comprising an elongated rod (134) which extends from a handle (132) and includes seats (146) for the seals (38).</p> |
