PURPOSE:To inexpensively and simply obtain the title compound such as alkylsilanes, etc., by reacting SiH4 with double bond-containing compound or triple bond-containing compound in the presence of a catalyst comprising a complex metallic hydride. CONSTITUTION:SiH4 is reacted with a double bond-containing compound (e.g. ethylene or 1-hexene) or triple bond-containing compound (e.g. 1-butyne or 1- hexyne) in the presence of a catalyst comprising complex metallic hydride (e.g. LiAlH4) preferably at 100-150 deg.C to give the objective compound. ln order to increase solubility of SiH4 in olefin and alkyne, the reaction is preferably carried out under high pressure. SiH4 of starting raw material, for example, is produced by reacting Mg2Si with an aqueous solution of hydrohalogenic acid. |
