<p>PURPOSE: To provide a vacuum thermal insulation type thermal insulation device which can be decompressed for a short time by forming a plurality of groovelike recesses forming a plurality of suction channels accelerating the carrying of the gas in the exhaust, on a surface of a mold made of a thermal insulating material with a wall of a plate-shaped metal housing. CONSTITUTION: A thermal insulation device comprises a mold 1 made of a thermal insulating material, and has an air-tight metal housing 2. A wall of the plate-shaped or double wall structure block-shaped air-tight metal housing 2, and a plurality of groove-like recesses 5 are formed on the surface of the mold 1 made of the ceramic fiber or glass fiber. The recesses 5 form the suction channels 6 communicated with a suction flange 3 connected with a vacuum pump together with the wall of the air-tight metal housing 2. As a result, the vacuum thermal insulation type thermal insulation device which can be decompressed for a short time can be provided.</p> |
