PURPOSE:To light up a fluorescent lamp with a high efficiency even at the time of emergency by providing a switch element connected in series to a capacitor for bridge operation and voltage drop detection means. CONSTITUTION:A switch element SW is connected in series to a capacitor C2 and a voltage drop detection circuit DET is connected to the power side. This voltage drop detection circuit DET makes a switch SW turn off when a power voltage drops lower than a fixed voltage and when the power voltage is higher than a fixed voltage, the switch SW turns on. It is thereby possible to certainly light up a fluorescent lamp even at an emergency time. |
