The electronic balance according to the invention is essentially characterised in that includes a tare winding 4 separate from the measurement winding 6, this being a balance in which the two windings, each engaged in the air gap of a magnet 14, 15, connected to the balance arm 2 which carries the platform 1 and have the purpose of compensating the weight of the mass to be weighed. The measurement current supplying the measurement winding 6 can thus be controlled by a power amplifier having a short response time. The currents in the two windings can be controlled by a computer.
