The invention relates to a device for storing and transporting tooling and various objects, the transport part of which can be detached from the storage part by a simple and quick manoeuvre, thus offering the possibility of using some elements of the device alone or in association. It consists of a trolley (1) of the "barrow" style, and of a detachable chest (2) into which are incorporated storage boxes (3) equipped with detachable lids (23).
