PURPOSE:To facilitate the identification of the address data on an instruction of a branch origin as well as an execution route and to improve the analysis processing speed of a program to be analyzed by referring to the data on a stack stored separately when the analysis is carried out with trace-back of the execution route. CONSTITUTION:A flow structure analysis means 11 serving as a branch data production means produces a flow control file which is used as the basic data for all analysis processings and stores the produced control file in a flow control file storage part 12. The analyzing result of the program contents is read with trace-back of the program. In this case, the stack contents vary by a branch instruction and therefore the branch data production means stores the latest address data on the stack in response to a branch instruction corresponding to each branch instruction. Then the reference is given to the stored stack data when the analysis is carried out with trace-back of an execution route. Thus it is possible to easily identify the address data on an instruction of the branch origin as well as the execution route. Then the analysis processing speed is improved for a program to be analyzed.
