The appts. to apply a wet treatment process to textile strand material, using an inner tube with driving jets projecting from a ring zone filled with the treatment fluid between it and an outer tube, has the jets distributed round the inner mantle from the fluid-filled inner ring zone. The centre axis of each jet is aligned at an acute angle to the direction of material travel. ADVANTAGE - The appts. handles materials travelling at rates of more than 400 m/min., without damage.
