<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate assembly by coupling a sliding element with a base board through a spring means, terminating the end of a board flange in a part behind, and inclining the lower front edge. CONSTITUTION: A wedge assembly is coupled with a vehicle door by a pair of holes 12 in a base board 10 using bolt, etc. A sliding element 14 is slid along a pair of inclined can faces 16 separated parallel. Against the action of a spring element 18, the sliding element 14 is sunk forcedly along the can faces 16 by a vehicle surface with which the element 14 collides when the door is shut. A stop element 24 is located in a long, thin groove 22 provided in the board 10, elongated downward from a flange 26, and held by a board flange 28. The flange 28 is terminated short at the front end of the groove and inclined inward along the lower front edge. Thereby assembly can be performed easily.</p> |
