<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a voltage transformer characterized by high reliability, high accuracy, compact configuration and low cost by measuring the secondary-side voltage which is divided with a voltage dividing electrode and a capacitor by using an optical voltage measuring means which is arranged in a voltage-transformer container having double partitioning walls. CONSTITUTION:Insulating gas 3 is sealed and a high-voltage conductor 2 are contained in a grounded container 1. A voltage dividing electrode 4 is insulated from the grounded container 1 and the high-voltage conductor 2 and arranged between the grounded container 1 and the high-voltage conductor 2. One terminal of a capacitor 6 is electrically connected to the voltage dividing electrode 4, and the other terminal is electrically connected to the grounded container 1. An optical voltage measuring means 7 measures the voltage of the terminal of the capacitor 6 which is connected to the voltage dividing electrode 4. A voltage transformer container 9 is fixed to the grounded container 1, and has double partitioning walls. The capacitor 6 and the optical voltage measuring means 7 are arranged in the container 9. For example, as the above described optical voltage measuring means, the voltage sensor 7 utilized a Pockels effect which is an electrooptical effect. The sensor 7 converts the electric field strength of a detecting electrode into the voltage and generates the optical output signal.</p> |
