摘要 PURPOSE:To detect malfunction by treating an inputted signal from a beam receiving sensor for detecting reflecting beam from a machining material set to a torch side and using a control unit for outputting starting signal of piercing and completing signal of piercing to a computer NC device. CONSTITUTION:Boring machining is progressed with the piercing and at the time of penetrating a hole for the prescribed time, the laser beam B2 is passed through to a table 20 side for the machining material 30. At this moment, voltage at the first beam receiving sensor 50 is suddenly dropped. This voltage signal is transmitted from a line 52 to the control unit 70. By detecting variation of this voltage, the starting and the completing of piercing can be accurately detected. At the same time of penetrating the piercing hole, the laser bear B2 reaches surface of the table 20 and the reflecting bean B4 is projected to the second beam receiving sensor 60. Beam quantity in the second bear receiving sensor 60 is rapidly increased and the voltage V becomes high level. The variation of voltage is transmitted to the control unit 70 through a line 62 and sent to the computer NC device 80. By this method, the malfunction is accurately detected and mal-machining, etc., can be prevented from occurring.
