PURPOSE: To keep an upper part of a car horizontal while being shifted to a lower position from a higher position, by a method wherein the car is triangular in cross section and further arranged in a groove with a triangular cross section, and wheels of the car supported by a gradient lower part moves along an inclined path. CONSTITUTION: A groove F follows a groove F' at both ends thereof. The groove F' comprises a surface 85 with a gradient bottom part and is provided with a vertical wall 85a at the lowest extreme end thereof and a gradient rim 85b at the highest extreme end thereof. A car 8 with wheels 84 runs in the groove F'. The car has a frame with a triangular cross section. In other words, the car has a horizontal upper part 81 supporting the section of a rail 80 for receiving the wheels 4a of the a freight car 4 and a gradient lower part 82 parallel with the bottom part 85 of the groove F'. The lower gradient part 82 is provided with the wheels of the car 8. Thus, the use of mechanical means of all possible descriptions enables the freight car 4 to move from one to another height with a slight shift simultaneously by the vertical and horizontal movements. |
