The rear wheel steering device for a vehicle with four-wheel steering, comprises an electric motor (4) mounted coaxially with a threaded rod (1), two ball nuts (2, 3) interacting with the screw thread of the rod, and mounted on the two end parts of the rotor (5) of the electric motor, two rolling-contact bearings (10, 11) mounted around the rotor on either side of the stator (6) of the electric motor, and a tubular casing (9) on the internal wall of which the stator and the outer races of the rolling-contact bearings are fixed. <IMAGE>
