<p>A light-weight training bomblet for discharge from a ballistic missile has cardboard or plastic outer cylindrical casing with terminal plates. The terminal plates are joined by an axial column (22) integral with the plates, and which may hold a cartridge for delaying ignition of the main charge (18) surrounding the column. When the bomblet is being assembled additional stability and sealing pressure are supplied by projections (40) from the terminal plates which press into grooves formed in the upper and lower casing rims. The projections (40) are pref. annular cutters with a cylindrical outer surface and an inner surface extending conically towards the cutting edge.</p>
