<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the opening of a lid body at the time of failure by forming a lock mechanism of a latch member provided with a locking plate, and a hook member, and providing a transmitting member for transmitting the operating force of the locking plate to the hook member. CONSTITUTION:A closure device for an automobile lid body is formed by providing a striker 15 fixedly at one side of a trunk lid 20 for closing the opening of the lid body and a lock mechanism to be locked with the striker 15 on the other side. The lock mechanism 30 is provided with a latch member 32 oscillated into both latch and unlatch positions. There are further provided with a locking plate 35 for impeding the oscillation of the latch member 32, a book member 54 to be fastened to the trunk lid 20, a pulling member 61, and the like. When the trunk lid 20 is closed and the book member 54 is fastened to the lid body side, power is started, and the pulling member 61 pulls the trunk lid 20 into the totally closed position through the hook member 54, and the latch member 32 is engaged with the striker 15 to make the opening of the trunk lid 20 impossible.</p> |
