PURPOSE:To shorten a complier time by saving the redundant processing of a low-priority processing phase, by incorporating skip information in a converted language when a high-priority processing phase detects information which is not to be processed by the low-priority processing phase. CONSTITUTION:In the compiling processing system of an electronic computer system which converts a high-level language into machine words, the (k)-th processing phase 3-k adds a skip start indication code 16 to the head of a series of converted words, whose processing by the (k+1)-th processing phase 3-(k+1) is judged by a processing necessary/unnecessary discrimination part 10 to be unnecessary, and a skip end indication code 17 to the tail when the series of converted words is outputted to a converted-word file 6-k. Then, the (k+1) processing phase 3-(k+1) skips the converting processing of the series of pieces of converted word information sandwiched between the skip start and end indication codes 16 and 17 with a converted language inputted from the language file 4 of the (k+1)-th processing phase 3-(k+1). |
