<p>PURPOSE:To improve operability at the time of resetting and to prevent resetting owing to malfunction by resetting a processor when plural prescribed keys in a keyboard are simultaneously depressed for a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:The keyboard 4 is constituted by a full keyboard having JIS arrangement, and keys 4a and 4b are provided for the keyboard 4. The keys 4a and 4b are used for giving the instruction of the resetting of a system (the resetting processing of a part of or the whole hardware and software) by simultaneously depressing them for a prescribed time. The simultaneous depression time of the keys 4a and 4b is measured by a counter 3a in RAM 3. Thus, the system can be reset with satisfactory operability and danger for resetting the system owing to malfunction and destroying user data is less.</p> |
