CAMERA WITH BLUR CORRECTION FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To preclude wrong blur correction by inhibiting the output of a blur detection sensor which outputs data for correcting a blur from being used when a voltage boosting means for flash light emission is in operation. CONSTITUTION:A peripheral circuit CT2 detects the angular speeds of the camera in its longitudinal and lateral swing directions and the camera includes angular speed sensors Sx and Sy which transmits a blur quantity to a microcomputer muC and a blur correcting lens control circuit Cxy which receives the output of the microcomputer muC and drives a lens Lc for correcting the blur in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis. The blur correcting lens control circuit Cxy outputs correcting signals to correcting lens driving circuits Cx and Sy to correct the blur of the camera. While the voltage boosting means for flash light emission is put in operation, the blur correcting means uses neither of the outputs of blur detection sensors affected by power source variation.
