摘要 PURPOSE: To eliminate one modulator drive at the time of altering the direction by the rotating speed of a gyro by changing one lamp directed forward to decide the rotating speed by following the resonance frequency of a fiber resonator. CONSTITUTION: The frequency of a counterclockwise(CCW) incident light beam is transited by a fixed frequency f' (adding sawtooth wave of a predetermined frequency of f' to a phase modulator 22), and only a sawtooth-like lamp directed forward to a phase modulator 20 is servo-controlled. The output terminal of a servo amplifier 50 is directly coupled to an adding amplifier 64, thereby controlling the frequency of the lamp signal finally added to an oscillator 43 and the modulator 20. At the time of the presence of the rotation, couterclockwise(CW) input is tuned with f0 +f'+▵f, and at the time of no rotation, CW input frequency is automatically tuned with f0 +f'. Thus, the circuit configuration of the double serrodyne gyroscope is simplified.
