PURPOSE:To reduce the optical signal density per one cable and the injected power energy and to prevent mixture of 4 waves by distributing component signals whose frequencies are not adjacent to each other among component signals being components of frequency multiplex optical signal into plural optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:When frequency multiplex optical signals 20-1-20-200 converted from an information signal and sent from transmission means 10-1-10-200 (10) are sent through plural optical fibers 6-1-6-8, the optical signal sent from the transmission means 10 to each optical fiber is the component signal whose frequencies are not adjacent to each other among the component signals being frequency multiplex optical signals 21-1-21-8. Thus, production of an interference wave and disturbance of a regular signal are avoided and the frequency multiplex optical signals 21-1-21-8 are injected spreadingly to the plural optical fibers 6-1-6-8. Thus, the optical signal density per one cable and the injected power energy are reduced and the mixture of 4 waves is avoided. |
