发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF PIEZOELECTRIC PORCELAIN
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve a piezoelectric porcelain in piezoelectric characteristics and to protect it against deformation at manufacturing by a method wherein lead titanate zirconate or lead titanate zirconate composition in which lead is partially substituted with an element selected from Ca, Sr, and Ba is prepared, which is calicinated, and antimony is added to the calicinated piece concerned. CONSTITUTION:PbO, TiO2, and ZrO2 are prepared as materials. These materials are so scaled as to obtain a porcelain which contains PbO3 in composition, which is mixed for four hours in a wet process to obtain a mixture. The mix ture is dried by dehydrating, which is calicinated to obtain a calcinated body. 1.0% by weight of Sb2O3 is added to the calcinated body, an organic binder is added thereto and mixed together, and the mixture is formed into a sheet to obtain a green sheet. A disc formed piece is punched out of the green sheet concerned, and the disc formed piece is burned at a temperature of 1280 deg.C for two hours to obtain a sintered body. A silver electrode is bonded to each side of the sintered piece respectively by baking, and a direct voltage of 3-4kV/mm is applied between the electrodes at a temperature of 20-60 deg.C to make the sintered piece be subjected to a polarizing treatment for 30 minutes for the formation of a piezoelectric porcelain.
