The invention relates to a culture device of the type comprising a fixed-bed reactor of eucaryotic or procaryotic cells in a culture medium under aerobic conditions. The oxygenation of the culture medium is performed by means of a gaseous mixture containing oxygen which is blown under pressure into the culture medium through at least one microporous wall. Application of this device to the culture of eucaryotic or procaryotic cells and more particularly of mammalian cells.
