PHENOL URETHANE FOAM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject phenol urethane foam having excellent thermal decomposition resistance and nonignitibility by reacting a mixture of a specific benzyl ether type phenol-formaldehyde resin and a specific ester compound with a polyisocyanate in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:(A) A mixture of a benzyl ether type phenol-formaldehyde resin obtained by condensing phenol with >=equimolar amount of formaldehyde and an ester compound which comprises an aromatic or alicyclic dibasic acid containing >=40% chlorine and a monohydric or polyhydric alcohol and contains one or more hydroxyl groups at the end is blended with (B) a polyisocyanate in a ratio of >=2 NCO groups of the component B based on OH group of the component A and reacted with a blowing agent or curing catalyst to give a phenol urethane foam having an excellent moldability and mechanical characteristics.
