<p>PURPOSE:To surely update bin information in a shortest time at the time of exchanging a cassette by newly providing a bin bar code label indicating a rack address and a handy bar code reader and reading the bin bar code and a cassette bar code every time the cassette is exchanged. CONSTITUTION:After a cassette is replaced in a state the door on the front of a device is opened, a handy bar code reader 4 is brought to the position of a bin and a cassette to depress a starting button, a bin bar code 8 and a cassette bar code 7 are simultaneously read, and their information is sent to a robot controller 104 through a serial bus. The robot controller 104 updates internal bin information and sends data which updates bin information in a sequence controller 106 and a system computer 3, to them, and respective pieces of bin information are updated to terminate the processing. Thus, bin information is updated in the shortest time at the time of exchanging the cassette.</p> |
