<p>PURPOSE:To perform control in an appropriate action mode in the case of detecting camera shake by comparing a detection output by a detection means for detecting the degree of the camera shake with a specified reference value. CONSTITUTION:Plural action modes are provided. Then, the camera is provided with the detection means DVP for detecting the degree of the camera shake, a comparison means MCB for comparing the detection output by the detection means with the specified reference value, and a mode decision means MCB for deciding one of the action modes based on the compared result by the com parison means. The appropriate action mode is set based on the detected camera shake information. By switching the mode to the appropriate action mode based on the camera shake information, whether it is the change of composition after performing an AF action or the camera shake is discriminated and erroneous range-finding value, etc., by the maximum value of camera shake amount is eliminated.</p> |
