PURPOSE:To increase both the operability and the general-purpose properties of a jukebox, by choosing the desired record and then performing it by operating the keys provided to a remote control box. CONSTITUTION:An individual number is given to each music of a number of records stored in a record magazine 2, and this individual number is designated by the figure keys provided to a remote control box 9 to choose the desired record. The box 9 uses the infrared-ray signal as a carrier which can receive the pulse modulation with operation of each key. The infrared-ray signal is received by a photodetector unit to decode the key that is operated, and the signal corresponding to the key is applied to a control circuit 6 in a jukebox main body 1. The circuit 6 stores the data of the figure key of the box 9 and exercise control over the magazine 2 and a record take-out mechanism 3 to choose the desired music bearing its individual number. A display 11 displays the number of the selected music and the credit number. |
