In a method for stabilising solid purifying agents for pollutant-containing gases, such as for example flue gases or product gases (3) of coal gasification or of a melting/gasification reactor, the solid purifying agents containing CaO, the particulate purifying agents, after charging with pollutants (6), are subjected to a CO2-enriched atmosphere for at least superficial conversion of the CaO to give CaCO3 in a carbonation step (10), whereby a product (13) directly disposable in landfill is formed in a simple manner from the pollutant-charged solid purifying agents. <IMAGE> |
