PURPOSE:To make a picture image and a sound image coincident and to avoid the unnaturalness by providing a level adjuster adjusting and mixing separated front L, C, R signals independently and an adder mixing and adding level adjustment outputs in parallel so as to synthesize upper and lower sound images. CONSTITUTION:Dolby prologic decoder 1 separates front L, C, R signals and they are subjected to level adjustment independently through a level adjustment device 3 and they are inputted to an adder 4, where they are mixed and a resulting sub center signal created as a sub center signal is amplified through a power amplifier 5 and sound is reproduced from a sub center speaker 9. Conventional sound image location reproduced by front speakers 8L, 8C, 8R installed on a floor is located easily upward by the provision of the sub center speaker 9. Then sound is outputted from the inside of a video reproduction screen 11 and the picture image and the sound image are made coincident. |
