摘要

The new polymers containing carboxyl groups are poly-N-acyl alkylene imines of general formula (a) which have carboxyl groups in the N-acyl groups. They are prepared by reacting poly-N-acyl alkylene imines which have hydroxyl groups in the N-acyl groups with cyclic anhydrides of low-molecular polycarboxylic acids. The new polymers can be used to manufacture coatings.
