PURPOSE:To maintain the minuteness of a sensor and to make it possible to obtain high output power by using a material obtained by fixing glucose oxidase on a platinum plated linear electrode as a working electrode. CONSTITUTION:A material obtained by fixing glucose oxidase on a platinum plated linear electrode is used as a working electrode. The working electrode is formed by plating platinum on the linear electrode comprising platinum, gold, titanium, carbon and the like, and fixing the glucose oxidase. For example, both end parts of the platinum plated electrodes are removed, bonded and insulated on a glass plate and the like with epoxy resin. Thus an anode and a cathode are formed. The fixing of the glucose oxidase on the linear anode is performed by using preferably water-soluble crosslinking resin. In is preferable that a substrate transmitting film is further formed on the glucose-oxidase fixed film formed in this way in order to expand the measuring range. |
