PURPOSE:To prevent a illegal act by recording feature information of a vehicle on a pass by a pass issuing machine at an entrance and comparing feature information recorded on the pass with actual feature information of the vehicle at an exit by a confirming machine. CONSTITUTION:The vehicle type code of the number plate and the picked-up image of the vehicle are recorded on the pass at the entrance by entrance image pickup machines 9 and 10, and it is discriminated whether the actual vehicle at the exit coincides with the vehicle to which the pass is issued or not at the exit based on recorded information of the pass by an exit confirming machine 14, and an alarm is generated in the case of discrepancy between them. Though drivers on vehicles of the same vehicle type meet in a service area and exchange passes, this illegal act is easily discriminated. Thus, the illegal act of toll payment of a toll road user is prevented. |
