<p>PURPOSE:To improve dust collection efficiency and achieve long durability by detaching dust concentration by means of a dust detector provided downstream of an electrically charged filter and controlling voltage applied to a wire net electrode in response to outputs from the detector. CONSTITUTION:A filter 2, which can be electrically charged, to allow air sucked into a box 1 to pass therethrough is housed in the box 1. Wire net electrodes 3 are provided on opposite sides of the filter 2. By means of a high voltage electric power source 4, DC high voltage is applied between the electrodes 3. And a dust detector 8 to detect dust concentration is provided downstream of the filter 2. Further, a controller 9 controls the voltage applied to the electrodes 3 in response to the outputs of the detector 8. As a result, dust collection efficiency can be improved and long durability can be achieved.</p> |
