Device placed immediately after the outlet nozzle of the extruding machine and equipped with at least one calibrator element, which comprises a conduit for passage of the recently extruded profile, said conduit following an essentially circular or helicoidal path. Via the inside of the extruded profile and it cools as it travels, so that at the end of its passage via the calibrator or calibrators the profile is already practically shaped and rigid. Each calibrator consists of a cooled metallic block. After the calibrator or calibrators there is preferably a member for drawing (pulling) the extruded profile. <IMAGE>
