PURPOSE: To enable accurate connection without causing a shock of moment substantially by providing coding elements which turn together with both driven machine elements and have code display pieces whose angular positions are changed for a sensor fixing position, respectively, in both machine elements. CONSTITUTION: A coding element 12 is attached to a machine element 2 through a coupling connection piece 6, and a coding element 13 is attached to a machine element 4 through a coupling connection piece 7, and they are formed as coding panels 14, 15. Both arms 24, 25 of a sensor 23 whose position is fixed oppose to outer sides 18, 19 of the panels 14, 15, and the sensor 23 is connected with a coupling control unit 27. The panels 14, 15 have the same shape and a code display piece 28 formed by a through hole 29, and the holes 29 which oppose mutually, namely, have the same diameter oppose to the panels 14, 15 by corresponding to desired phase synchronization when a coupling 3 is engaged.
