PURPOSE:To surely prevent the biased abrasion of tread end sections by forming peripheral grooves with a specific width, thereby forming fine ribs with a specific width, and protruding at least one fine rib from a tread contour line. CONSTITUTION:A proper number of peripheral grooves 11-14 extended linearly are arranged on both end sections in the width direction of the tread section 2 of a tire 1, i.e., outside sections in the width direction of shoulder ribs 7a and 7b, thereby fine ribs 15 and 16 are formed between peripheral grooves 11 and 14 and tread ends 4 and 5 and between peripheral grooves 11 and 12, and remaining ribs 19 and 20 are formed between peripheral grooves 12 and 13 and main grooves 3. The width A of peripheral grooves 11-14 is set to 0.1 times or below of the tread width W. The width B of fine ribs 15-18 is set to 0.2 times or below of the tread width W. At least one of fine ribs 17 and 18 is protruded to the outside in the radial direction from the extension line of a tread contour line L. |
